Starboard Wins 12 Seats on Darden's Board
Oct. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Darden Restaurants lost a
nine-month battle against Starboard Value, which persuaded investors to
replace the company's entire board at its shareholder meeting.

company to announce that it will split its operations into two. The
Norton antivirus software maker said it would spin off operations into
two publicly traded firms, one focused on security and the other on
storage.
Blackstone, the world's largest buyout fund
